Our Impact

Sam, a diabetic, focuses on being a role model for family members who also have the disease, and he credits Circle Health Services with helping him manage his diabetes.  Even though he takes two buses to get to Circle Health Services from his home, he believes it’s worth it.  Now that his health is stable, he is able to help his mother and grandmother care for his ailing grandfather.  “They treat me real nice here…When people help me, I like to help others,” he says.
Julia spent the last 30 years taking care of the elderly and Alzheimer’s patients.  Her employer didn’t provide health insurance, so she came to Circle Health Services in 2006 when she could no longer afford the $600 a month out-of-pocket costs – a decision she credits with saving her life.  Struggling with severe high blood pressure, Julia suffered a stroke in 2004.
